Job Description
 Our client is an international ship management company who have several streams of business. At their core though they are a ship manager who have enjoyed huge success over the last hundred odd years. They have offices in nearly 20 countries around the world and have a reputation for excellence. They have a fleet of both wet and dry vessels which are managed from many locations globally. They need a Technical Superintendent to come and join them on the dry side of their business. You will be overseeing your capesize bulkers by ensuring the crew are performing their jobs correctly and keeping up with all work required by the PMS system. You will coach and develop engineers on board your ships to be the best they can be in their roles and provide day to day technical support to your ships. You will manage vessel budgets and operating expenditure as well as dealing with the planning and implementation of dry dockings as required. To be suitable for this role you will: Hold a class one certificate of competency unlimited motor or a maritime degree. Have worked as a Technical Superintendent before and hold a level of experience in the job that means you don’t require training in the core proficiencies of the role. Have worked as a Superintendent of capsize bulkers before. Have the desire to want to work in Hong Kong. You will be offered a healthy package by our client including the opportunity to progress inside the business.
