Consortio have partnered with a distinguished design consultancy that specialises in defence vessels such as submarines, high-speed patrol vessels and warships. Our client continuously looks for talented individuals to play a part in their ever-expanding organization with new defence contracts being regularly awarded. As a result of this, our client is recruiting for a Principal Submarine Engineer to join their busy team and work on new and exclusive defence contracts. This is an exciting time to join a company that has opened some brand-new state of the art office locations.In this role as Principal Submarine Engineer you will be leading the submarine design and engineering department to ensure sensitive projects are completed on time and to the highest possible standard. The Principal Submarine Engineer will work closely the Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering teams to complete submarine design and design analysis tasks – Some of these tasks include Conceptual design of Submarine and other underwater vehicles, detailed design, 3D Modelling, Stability assessments and critical assessment of SME. To be successful in this role you must have:The right to live and work in the EU A minimum of 8 years’ experience working with submarines Extensive experience working with Paramarine A degree in Naval Architecture/Marine Engineering Experience leading a team and delegating tasks This is a fantastic opportunity to join an ever-growing team in a position of seniority.
