MARPRO reports: New concept well received

2017 was the founding year for a new concept introduced by MARPRO: A combination of a media, a recruitment company and a marketing bureau. 
 
Jakob le Fevre, Managing Director of MARPRO explains: “Traditionally, companies have worked within a very clear and conservative frame, a recruitment company handled recruitment, a marketing bureau handled marketing related matters and a media company oversaw publishing. We have been tracking the transition of the market from traditional media channels to social media driven channels. With our two maritime groups on LinkedIn Maritime Professionals and Maritime Deck Officers - with a total number exceeding 60.000 members - as the backbone in our strategy, we have built a portal optimized to deliver content to Social Media feeds. The news and event section attract relevant profiles and the large number of job opportunities advertised (more than 1.000 jobs every day) encourage them to register and thus expand the internal database with relevant profiles daily for the benefit of the affiliated company MARPRO Search & Selection."
 
The recruitment company MARPRO Search & Selection located in Denmark, has delivered profiles to both small, medium sized and large companies in 2017 and the clear maritime profile is well received in the business. But these terms are restrictive and does not cover our services. We are plain and simple a company who are specialists in the maritime business, the companies and organizations in this industry and profiles behind. What we can offer to companies is to find the best profiles for a specific job, we can assist with sales and marketing strategy including finding relevant agents world-wide and we can create attention to a brand or a new product. We have furthermore initiated contact between seller and buyers of businesses and are currently working on several not advertised opportunities”
