Our client is committed to improving safety standard throughout the constantly evolving marine industry by using the latest technology to tackle the industry’s most pressing safety and reliability concerns.In this role as a Hull Engineer, you will be joining a highly motivated team of Engineers who are responsible for the plan review and approval of a variety of engineering drawings and documentation. You will be responsible for ensuring all vessel designs, ranging from propulsion systems to piping routes meet the standards of statutory regulation and class requirements. Our client fully expects the successful candidate to hold their work to the highest standards and operate with a safety-first mentality. To be considered for this role you should have: A Degree in Naval Architecture Relevant plan approval experience working for a Class Society/Shipyard/Design or Consultancy office or Shipping Company The right to live and work in the UK Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English This is a great opportunity to join a growing class society that is setting the highest standards in the industry.
