Bayport and the International Maritime Business School (IMBS) joint

Bayport, a general ship supplier from Cádiz (Spain) operating in different ports of the country, and the International Maritime Business School (IMBS) have signed a strategic alliance to collaborate in the promotion of specialized maritime and port training and education to achieve the objectives set by both institutions.

Through the agreement, signed by Rafael Fernández, CEO of Bayport, and Antonio J. Padrón, marketing director of IMBS, the company from Cádiz will sponsor scholarships for students and workers of the courses offered by the School.

"Our objective can not be other than to help and promote specialized training in a sector in continuous growth and of vital importance for both the economy and for the generation of employment in our country," said Rafael Fernández.

For his part, Antonio J. Padrón, marketing director of IMBS, emphasizes that "our commitment goes beyond the educational field. We have a social commitment with many companies through the activities in our ports, as true economic drivers for cities. For this reason, "for us is very important to have the collaboration and promotion of a pioneer and leader company like Bayport", says Padrón.

International Maritime Business School (IMBS) has a large number of specialized collaborating professors, both national and international, as well as more than thirty companies and collaborating entities with which training actions are promoted in the field of management and development of the maritime, port and logistics sectors.
