With more than 700 participants and 39 exhibitors from 20 countries and territories participating in a two-day industry focused dialogue, the 3rd Posidonia Sea Tourism Forum in 2015 was a great success and the 4th edition of the event is confirmed for 23-24 May 2017.
As with the previous editions of the PSTF, the conference will consist of specialized sessions on cruising and yachting.
Among the subjects to be addressed in the Cruise sessions are industry development and growth strategies in the East Mediterranean, European cruise market growth and demand for the region, itinerary planning, new destination development, berth allocation, innovation in shore excursion programs, port privatisation, cruise marketing & sales, alternative port ownership and management structures, port infrastructure development and the new generation cruise ships, shore excursions and land programs design, pricing and profitability.
Yachting sessions will evaluate what it takes for the yachting sector in Greece to keep up with the consistent growth of the European yachting, the challenge to change the image of Greek yachting both domestically and internationally, marinas privatisation process and private public partnerships, the regulatory environment for yachting in Europe.
A main feature of the Posidonia Sea Tourism Forum will again be the enlarged exhibition space. The Exhibition will provide the ideal marketing platform for ports & destinations, hotels & resorts, airports, tourist service providers, technical support companies, sector publishers, new technologies, yacht managers & brokers, yacht interiors specialists and marinas to promote their business proposition and identify potential partners.
Also, the successful B2B Meetings will be repeated in 2017.
The 2017 Posidonia Sea Tourism Forum will provide a unique platform to evaluate new investment opportunities and meet the leaders of this industry, as Greece, the East Mediterranean and the Black Sea will feature very strongly in the future development of Sea Tourism.
